Wrexham striker Ollie Palmer has been told that he can leave the club this summer, Wrexham Insider understands.
Wrexham confirmed the signing of Ryan Hardie as the first acquisition to walk through the door at the Racecourse Ground ahead of the club’s first Championship campaign in 43 years.
Phil Parkinson expects departures this summer as he juggles his options in naming a 25-man Wrexham squad for the upcoming season.
Fans will be expecting a summer of change as Will Boyle edges closer to a Wrexham exit but he could soon be joined by legendary striker Palmer.

Wrexham tell Ollie Palmer he can leave the club
Parkinson told Palmer to leave on loan back in the January transfer window but the forward decided to stay in North Wales and fight for his place.
Palmer was devastated over his Wrexham exile and fans saw the pain he was suffering during the latest episode of ‘Welcome to Wrexham’.

TBR Football’s transfer expert Graeme Bailey has now revealed that Parkinson has once again told Palmer to find a new club this summer and his departure is expected.
Bailey stated: “Ollie Palmer has been told he can leave and it is expected he will depart.”
The signing of Hardie has pushed Palmer further down the pecking order and with seven strikers now on the books, the 33-year-old looks set to make way.
Wrexham will sell Ollie Palmer at the right time
Parkinson explained why Palmer was dropped because the arrivals of Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez made competition for places just too high.
Palmer has one year left on his contract, therefore Wrexham can only expect a nominal fee for the forward should clubs show interest this summer.
He still has a lot to offer and there will be clubs in Leagues One and Two eyeing up his physicality and experience.
Palmer has also shown he is an excellent character to have around in the dressing room so finding a suitable move should not be too difficult for him.
