Wrexham have finally done something during the 2025 January transfer window, though it’s probably not the news fans are waiting for.
We are now in day 14 of the 2025 January transfer window and at present, it doesn’t look as though any new signings are close to being completed.
Wrexham are expected to miss out on Joe Gelhardt to Championship outfit Hull City after we broke news of their interest in the striker last month.
There are still other players who could be on their way to the Racecourse Ground in the coming weeks, however.
Dylan Levitt has responded to Wrexham transfer links after claims he wanted to join the Welsh outfit on loan this month.
Elsewhere, Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds could sanction two transfers, with forward additions expected.
However, there has now reportedly been an exit from the Racecourse in the opening two weeks of January.

Phil Parkinson sanctions Wrexham loan exit
The Red Dragons sent a number of players out on loan during the 2024 summer transfer window.
Sam Dalby is excelling with Dundee United and there’s been much speculation about him being recalled in January to help the club’s striker woes.
Meanwhile, another centre-forward in Jake Bickerstaff spent the first half of 2024/25 on loan in the National League with Altrincham.
He made 12 appearances and scored one goal during that spell before returning to Wales this month.
However, journalist Pete O’Rourke has now reported that Wrexham have agreed to send Bickerstaff back out on loan this month, once again linking up with Altrincham.
What Phil Parkinson has said about Jake Bickerstaff
Bickerstaff began his career with Wrexham before having a brief spell in Liverpool’s youth system.
He returned to Wales in 2017 and has been sent out on loan several times by the American-owned club.
Speaking back in 2023, Parkinson labelled Bickerstaff ‘clinical’ when praising the striker’s finishing.
He said: “Jake is a very good finisher, a clinical finisher. He scored a couple of goals in the FA Trophy last year and he was eager to get off the mark in the league for us, and he has done that.
“I am pleased for him. I have said all along that we have got to give players an opportunity if they perform and I thought Jake did really well against Wigan.
Despite this, the 23-year-old has only ever made 24 senior appearances for Wrexham and it’s hard to see him having much of a long-term future with the club given he’s back in the National League yet again.
Bickerstaff is currently under contract with the Red Dragons until June 2026.
