One Wrexham player’s new club has now been decided after a lot of interest in his services over the last month.
Phil Parkinson has said players will leave Wrexham this summer to make room for new signings and exits have already been planned.
As has been the case in the last few years, plenty of players are being released at the end of June when their contracts expire.
Wrexham announced their retained list last month, in which it was confirmed a total of eight stars are departing when their deals expire on June 30.
Among those players is Sam Dalby, who has just enjoyed a prolific season on loan at Dundee United.

The striker rejected a contract offer from the Red Dragons in January and can now move on a free transfer.
It was reported that Blackpool were keen to sign Dalby, but they were not the only EFL side in for him.
Wigan Athletic have eyed Paul Mullin and his Wrexham teammate, but they too are set to miss out.
Bolton Wanderers’ interest in Dalby emerged earlier this week, and it’s now been reported that they are set to win the race for his signature.
Pete O’Rourke wrote on X/Twitter: “Bolton are set to beat League One rivals Wigan and Blackpool to land former Wrexham striker Sam Dalby on a free transfer.”
Sam Dalby Wrexham stats
Dalby joined Wrexham from Southend United in the summer of 2022 for an undisclosed fee.
He went on to feature 88 times for the Dragons, scoring 13 goals and assisting 12 in all competitions.
The 25-year-old’s spell in Scotland was much more productive, though, as he netted 15 and assisted two in 37 games for Dundee United.
It’ll be interesting to see if Wigan missing out on Dalby to Bolton means they now step up their interest in Mullin.
