The move to Scotland worked wonders for Dalby as he racked up 15 goals in 35 league games for Dundee United, putting himself in the shop window.
Dalby was always likely to reject Wrexham’s offer of a new contract, as he looks to make the most of his stock being so high.
Blackpool are interested in Dalby and their League One rivals Wigan Athletic have eyed both Dalby and Paul Mullin.
