Wrexham are working hard to improve their squad going into the 2025/26 Championship season.
The transfer window opened for the Red Dragons on June 16, and they wasted little time getting a deal over the line.
Wrexham signed Ryan Hardie from Plymouth Argyle in a deal worth £700,000.
This week, meanwhile, Danny Ward has returned over a decade after he was sold to Liverpool for £100,000.
But more players are expected to join, and we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours coming out of Wrexham.

Manager reacts to ‘really exciting’ signing
Wrexham released eight senior players and several youngsters in May when they announced their retained list.
Among those was Harry Dean, and the 19-year-old has now found himself a new club.
Bala Town’s manager has praised the former Wrexham player after securing his services for free, going into 2025/26.
Steve Fisher said: “Harry is a really exciting young player with bags of potential. We’re building for the future as well as the present — and bringing in someone of Harry’s ability and attitude is a great step forward for us. I’m looking forward to seeing him develop with us this season.”
Update on Wrexham target Barry Bannan
Wrexham have been linked with a move for Barry Bannan this summer, and the player’s deal with Sheffield Wednesday has now expired.
The midfielder is still training with the Owls, but what his future holds going into 2025/26 remains up in the air.
An update on Bannan’s future has now been provided this week, though it might not be great for Wrexham.
Josh Windass to Wrexham
Bannan isn’t the only Sheffield Wednesday ace being eyed for a move by Phil Parkinson, however.
Reports this week are now claiming Wrexham are interested in Josh Windass amid rumours he has asked to leave the Owls amid their ongoing struggles to pay wages.
Rangers are also thought to be showing an interest in the attacking midfielder who can operate up front and on the wing.
Expert view on Lewis O’Brien
After improving their forward line with Hardie, Wrexham want Lewis O’Brien to strengthen their midfield.
The midfielder has plenty of experience in the Championship, including spending time on loan at Swansea City last term.
An expert view on O’Brien has now been provided by a Nottingham Forest journalist, with the Wrexham target still under contract at the City Ground.
