A number of celebrities watched on from the Racecourse Ground as Wrexham drew with Cambridge United on Saturday.
Wrexham went into the game no doubt fancying their chances of coming away with a fifth-straight victory in the league.
The Red Dragons hadn’t conceded in their last four league matches and with Cambridge United starting the day in the relegation zone, three points seemed likely.
However, the home side fell behind after 20 minutes thanks to some poor defending from Ryan Barnett and Max Cleworth.
Wrexham fans were left in awe of James McClean just five minutes later, however, when he headed in an equaliser.
Steven Fletcher then came off the bench and put the Red Dragons in front with 66 minutes on the clock.
However, Phil Parkinson’s side could not hold on to their lead, with Lewis Brunt costing Wrexham vs Cambridge when he gave away a penalty late on to see the tie come to a close with the score at 2-2.

How Ryan Reynolds felt after Wrexham vs Cambridge United
While Wrexham dropped two points on Saturday, their promotion rivals Birmingham City and Wycombe Wanderers both picked up wins.
That has seen the Hollywood-owned club drop down to third in the League One table, one point behind Birmingham who have two games in hand.
It was by no means a clinical performance from Wrexham on the day, but blowing a lead in such a heartbreaking manner so late on was probably not deserved.
Ryan Reynolds was spotted in Wrexham the day before the Cambridge meeting and was in attendance at the Racecourse Ground to watch the clash live alongside fellow American actor, Channing Tatum.
Tatum was active on Instagram during his time in Wales and one photo he posted to his story shortly after the match had finished gave a clear indication of how the obviously dejected Reynolds was feeling:

Green Day star and more celebrities watched Wrexham vs Cambridge United
Since Reynolds bought them alongside Rob McElhenney in 2021, the club have become accustomed to seeing a whole host of celebrities visit the Racecourse.
The likes of Paul Rudd, Will Ferrell and Hugh Jackman have watched Wrexham live in the last few years.
Saturday’s clash with Cambridge was particularly star-studded, however, with Reynolds and Tatum not the only major names in attendance.
Green Day singer Billy Joe Armstrong was spotted at the match as were Brandon Sklenar and Dion Dublin.
It’s become something of a regular occurrence but Wrexham fans are still surely pinching themselves at all the celebrities that are now coming to watch their team play.
