Wrexham are set to go head-to-head with Bristol Rovers in a 3pm kick-off on Friday afternoon.
Fresh off the back of a 0-0 draw with Wigan Athletic, Wrexham need to get back to winning ways or risk dropping out of the top two.
Wycombe Wanderers are chasing Wrexham down in the battle to secure the second automatic promotion spot.
The Chairboys, after wins over Huddersfield Town and Stevenage last week, are now just one point adrift of Phil Parkinson’s side going into Friday.
But as Wycombe are up against a Bolton Wanderers side looking to earn a play-off space, this is a real opportunity for the Welsh outfit to open up a much-needed gap by beating Bristol Rovers.
Here is everything you need to know about the two teams ahead of the clash at the Racecourse Ground.

Wrexham team and injury news vs Bristol Rovers
Ahead of such an important tie, Wrexham do not have too many problems to deal with.
Andy Cannon is injured and the midfielder will be out for the remainder of 2024/25 after undergoing surgery.
Apart from Cannon, there is only one more confirmed issue going into the clash.
Parkinson revealed Modou Faal is injured this week, and he may now miss the rest of the season with a ‘bad’ problem.
He said: “Unfortunately, Mo got injured in training this week, which is a blow and it’s quite a bad injury with his thigh.
“That’s a shame for Mo, it’s frustrating for him and for us. We’ll be assessing the seriousness of that over the next couple of days.”

Wrexham predicted XI vs Bristol Rovers
Parkinson has been selecting a very similar team in recent weeks, but the manner in which they drew with Wigan should cause him to rethink things.
With Wrexham playing at home against a side near the relegation zone, and given they didn’t have a shot on target last week, it makes sense to see a more attacking line-up.
Elliot Lee is the club’s most creative midfielder and should be brought back into the side to offer some much-needed firepower.
Similarly, Ryan Barnett’s creativity down the right could be very useful when trying to open up a team that will most likely sit deep.

Further forward, with Wrexham fans wanting Jay Rodriguez dropped, we could finally see Paul Mullin make his return.
