The date of Wrexham and Reading’s Carabao Cup third-round fixture has now been confirmed.
Wrexham beat Preston North End by three goals to two in the second round of the competition last month.
Ryan Hardie, Kieffer Moore and Harry Ashfield were on the scoresheet to fire the Dragons past their Championship rivals.
Wrexham’s prize money from the Carabao Cup has reached five figures, and they stand to net another decent sum if they beat Reading.

Jack Marriott impressing for Reading
The Carabao Cup tie is likely to see Jack Marriott make a return to the Racecourse Ground.
Wrexham made around £150,000 from player sales during the summer transfer window.
One of those deals involved selling Marriott to Reading for an undisclosed fee.
The striker has hit the ground running at his new club, and was in action on Tuesday evening against Ollie Palmer’s Swindon Town.
Reading fans are impressed with Marriott, who scored as their side lost 3-2 to Palmer and Co.
