Wrexham have enjoyed much success under Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac, with the duo expanding their portfolios outside of the football club as well.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac purchased Wrexham from the club’s Supporters Trust for £2m in 2021.
Four years on, the Dragons have been given a £350m valuation amid a potential stake sale.
Away from the Welsh outfit, Mac and Reynolds invested in Club Necaxa in April 2024, who have since launched their own Welcome to Wrexham-inspired documentary.
As well as investing in more football teams, the Hollywood stars have taken co-ownership of another Wrexham-based company.

Wrexham Lager CEO on Ryan Reynolds investment
Reynolds and Mac became the new co-owners of Wrexham Lager in October 2024.
The duo said at the time: “As Co-chairmen of Wrexham AFC we have learned a lot. The connection between club and community, the intricacies of the offsides rule and the occasional need for beer – especially after finance meetings. Wrexham Lager has a 140-year-old recipe and a storied history and we’re excited to help write its next chapter.”
Now, the company’s CEO, James Wright, has explained how Ryan’s group became involved with Wrexham Lager.
He said, as quoted by iSportconnect: “We needed more investment because to build in America and build in other markets we needed cash and that was the only way we could do it.
“And that turned out to be Ryan’s group. And for them, it makes sense because it means that they have control over anything to do with Wrexham.
“Our beer was the only brand that had Wrexham as a name. It’s all about positive image transfer and community engagement and it works for both sides.”
