Dele Alli has been linked with a potentially stunning move to Wrexham after leaving Como on a free transfer.
Dele Alli is a free agent once again. The former Spurs and England star continues on his fall from grace after being released by Serie A side Como, making just the one league appearance for them.
Since, Wrexham have been linked with a move for Alli. Phil Parkinson’s side have had links to several big name free agents this summer with Wrexham making an approach to sign Christian Eriksen this summer.
Alongside Wrexham, the likes of Birmingham City and West Brom are thought to have an interest in Alli, who’s now 29 years old.

Dele Alli to Swansea City ruled out in huge potential boost for Wrexham
Following the initial Championship links to Alli, it was revealed that Swansea City are also interested in Alli following his Como exit. Swansea City and Wrexham meet in the Championship this season in what will be their first competitive match since 2003.
The two also had a few transfer battles in the summer, with Lewis O’Brien wanted by both but eventually moving to the Racecourse. And speaking to Wales Online, Swansea City boss Alan Sheehan has ruled out a potential move for Alli, opening the door for Wrexham to make their move.
Sheehan said: “I can rule that out. I haven’t heard that one at all right now. We’ve done our business and unless something dramatically changes. Obviously Dele Alli is a wonderful player, so I don’t want to comment anything on him or where he is, or how he’s playing etc. But look, for Swansea City, I would say no right now.”

Door open for Wrexham, but Dele Alli move still looks unlikely
Alli certainly has options and Wrexham seems like one of them, and for Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac, it would make a lot of sense signing such a high profile player, as it boosts their global brand and publicity and so on.
From a footballing point of view though, Alli would be a gamble. He’s been poor for a long time now and there’s nothing to suggest that he’s ready to get back to his best, or to at least try to get back.
And it has recently been revealed that Ollie Rathbone is set to return to the Wrexham squad after his initial omission, with the midfielder having stepped up his recovery from an ankle injury.
On top of that, Parkinson spoke very positively about Rathbone and his eventual return to the side, suggesting that he’ll play a key role when he does make his comeback.
A move for Alli then seems more unlikely than likely right now. But expect him to move somewhere soon, possibly in the Championship.
