Wrexham are back in Championship action on Saturday afternoon, facing off with Norwich City.

Wrexham have played five games in the second tier so far this season, with very mixed results.

A 2-0 win over Millwall in late August was impressive, but their remaining fixtures have ended in disappointment.

Wrexham could be relegated if their current form continues, according to Opta’s supercomputer.

As for Norwich City, they have won two of their opening league matches and sit in 10th place, well clear of the Red Dragons.

Norwich City vs Wrexham score prediction

Prior to the weekend’s action getting underway, Wrexham’s chances of beating Norwich are low.

Now, EFL pundit Sam Parkin has made his prediction for the clash when speaking alongside Benjamin Bloom.

Parkin is backing a Norwich win at Carrow Road but he is expecting there to be plenty of goals.

He has gone for a 3-2 home win, with Wrexham to create a tense end to the match.

Parkin said: “I think we’ll probably see a more resolute Wrexham. We’ll probably see one or two changes and I could see them giving themselves a good account of themselves here against a Norwich team who obviously struggled at Coventry.

“I’ll take a 3-2. I’ll take a 3-2. I think there’ll be goals.

“I wanted 2-1. Maybe 3-1, Wrexham to get one back at the death and make it a tense last few minutes.”

Wrexham injury news before Norwich City

Ahead of the match, the injury news coming out of Wrexham is pretty mixed.

Left-wing-back Liberato Cacace is injured and facing several weeks on the sidelines again.

In a big boost, however, Josh Windass is available to face Norwich, as is fellow summer signing George Thomason.

Thomason is yet to make an appearance for Wrexham following his transfer from Bolton Wanderers.
