Wrexham are being linked with plenty of players, and the latest news from Fabrizio Romano will be of particular interest to the Dragons.
Wrexham want Premier League players added to their squad this summer and are thought to have an interest in several top-flight stars.
We understand Aaron Cresswell has been offered a contract by Phil Parkinson’s side as he prepares to leave West Ham United.
The Wrexham Insider also confirmed last week that talks with Danny Ings have taken place, which Sky Sports have since backed up, while adding that Watford are interested in the Hammers striker.
Elsewhere, talks with Ben Davies over a move have already been held in the last few weeks.
Now, Davies is set to get a new manager after the latest update from Fabrizio Romano.

Wrexham transfer impact as Thomas Frank agrees Tottenham deal
Tottenham Hotspur won the Europa League last month, their first trophy in over a decade.
However, Spurs have since taken the decision to sack Ange Postecoglou – presumably due to the club’s performance in the Premier League.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on June 10, in which he says the Lilywhites have agreed a deal for Thomas Frank, and Brentford will allow their manager to leave for around £10m.
The deal should be of great interest to Wrexham, who could see two potential transfers impacted.
Tottenham extended Davies’ contract for one year last week, and now he will have a new manager; his future is slightly more unclear.
Frank could be open to letting the left-back leave, but it remains to be seen if the Dane will want to keep the Wrexham target around or not.
Meanwhile, Brentford’s Myles Peart-Harris is of interest to the Dragons, but again, now the Bees will have to find a new manager, his future has become less clear.

Wrexham alternative to Ben Davies
Davies would be a fantastic signing for Wrexham, but the recent contract extension and arrival of a new manager may make a deal difficult.
The obvious alternative to the Welshman right now is a player already mentioned, Cresswell.
Like Davies, the West Ham defender is a natural left-back who has moved into a left-sided centre-back role in recent times.
They are a similar age and have a similar amount of experience playing in the top flight of English football.
Wrexham fans would probably prefer Davies given his links to the national team, but Cresswell is not a bad second choice.
