The Wrexham Insider has learned that Wrexham are pushing to secure a Premier League loan signing this summer.
The Red Dragons are aiming to strengthen their squad for their first season back in the second tier of English football for several decades.
Wrexham have been told to make six to nine signings, and a host of names have already been linked.
Contracts have been offered to Aaron Cresswell and Craig Dawson, while Ben Davies is a target.
Elsewhere, Phil Parkinson has already confirmed Wrexham have been in talks for Premier League loans.
And we have now learned that the club are pushing hard to sign one of Ryan Reynolds’ countrymen on a temporary deal this summer.

Wrexham want Bournemouth’s Daniel Jebbison
We have spoken exclusively to TBR’s transfer correspondent Graeme Bailey, and The Wrexham Insider understands that Wrexham are making a big push to land Canadian international Daniel Jebbison.
21-year-old Jebbison is being chased by nearly half the Championship and is one of the most in-demand loan targets in the Premier League.
The Bournemouth striker spent the start of last season at Watford, but was recalled when not given the game time promised.
Indeed, Jebbison returned to the Vitality Stadium and ended up featuring in 16 Premier League games under Andoni Iraola.
We understand that Iraola is a huge fan of Jebbison and is yet to sanction his exit, but if he is allowed out, there is a huge battle for his services.
And Wrexham co-owner Reynolds is looking to lure one of his fellow countrymen to the Racecourse for the first time.
However, we can reveal that Wrexham are one of only a host of sides who have had conversations with Jebbison’s camp – but they are pushing hard to land him.
