Wrexham are preparing for a season-defining clash against Charlton Athletic.
Wrexham know that regardless of what Wycombe Wanderers do in the earlier kick off, if they win their remaining two games they will be promoted out of League One.
Phil Parkinson praised the fans for their part in the 2-1 victory over Blackpool last time out and has echoed Rob McElhenney’s rallying cry ahead of the huge clash at the Racecourse Ground.
Both McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds will be in attendance for the game and midfielder George Dobson has lifted the lid on what the Wrexham squad really thought of McElhenney’s speech before Blackpool.

George Dobson reveals Wrexham squad’s thoughts on Rob McElhenney speech
Speaking to BBC Sport, Dobson has lifted the lid on what he and his team mates thought of McElhenney’s rousing speech ahead of their game at Bloomfield Road.
Dobson stated: “It was unbelievable. The Wigan and Bristol Rovers games it maybe looked like we were a tad more cagey than we had been and [McElhenney] just said there’s no pressure whatsoever, just go back to that 12-year-old boy and play as you would as a kid with your friends.
“It was a really inspirational, motivational speech and the whole group really bought into it.”
The 27-year-old midfielder had no doubt that the words from the Wrexham owner played a part in the Red Dragons producing one of their best displays of the season against Steve Bruce’s side.
Dobson explained: “I think it showed in the performance at Blackpool, it seemed like the reins were off with the group and there was a real togetherness between the fans and the club, with the goals, the way they were celebrated, it felt like a really special moment.”
George Dobson opens up on his time at Charlton Athletic
Dobson was once a ‘mainstay’ for Charlton Athletic and has opened up on his time at the South London club.
The Wrexham midfielder stated: “I had three brilliant years [at Charlton] and I really enjoyed it. I met a lot of special people and people who I’m still close with, It always seems to be that things like that happen and you end up playing against former teams when it matters the most.”

Parkinson is expected to name the same side that produced the stunning display at Blackpool and Dobson was magnificent in midfield.
If he and the rest of his team mates can produce a similar performance against The Addicks, there could be the possibility of a promotion party in North Wales.
