Ollie Palmer has been in prolific form this season and is rated higher than some Wrexham strikers.

The striker fell out of favour under Phil Parkinson last season but did play one game for the Red Dragons before being sold this summer.

Ollie Palmer’s last Wrexham appearance came versus Hull City in the Carabao Cup and saw him net a brace.

Since moving to Swindon Town on a free transfer, Palmer’s goalscoring form has improved, finding the back of the net three times in seven matches.

His upturn in form has seen Fotmob award the Englishman an overall rating of 7.03 this season.

Alongside Palmer, Wrexham moved on Paul Mullin, Jack Marriott, Steven Fletcher and Sam Dalby this summer.

In their places, Parkinson brought in Kieffer Moore from Sheffield United and Ryan Hardie from Plymouth Argyle.

Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez are the only remaining centre-forwards from their League One promotion-winning season, but the latter has been out of action due to injury for several months.

As expected after five goals in 10, Moore is the highest-rated Wrexham striker in 2025/26 so far.

Hardie, who has been dropped from the Championship squad in recent weeks, is the lowest.

Ollie Palmer still involved with Wrexham

While the 33-year-old has left the club permanently, he still has a role at the Racecourse Ground.

Palmer confirmed he is a Wrexham ambassador in a recent interview, also revealing that he will feature in the upcoming season of Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac’s documentary.

Palmer said: “Technically, I am involved [with Wrexham], actually, but I could speak about it. I’ve got no issue speaking about it, the club, Swindon, have been wicked with me.

“I’ve got like an ambassador role with the football club that, when I left that they all agreed that they wanted me to have, and I accepted it.

“Come to Swindon they said. Great because then the documentary has been at the Swindon games and they’ve been here [podcast studio]. So it’s great exposure, it’s great for everyone, and Ryan knows that, and Rob knows that, and they want to help.
