Ollie Palmer is due to leave Wrexham before the deadline on September 1, and he has now won an award for his last appearance.
After much speculation over the summer, Ollie Palmer has been told he can leave Wrexham this year.
Dorking Wanderers signing Palmer has been ruled out, but the player is still set to move on in the coming days.
The 33-year-old arrived at the Racecourse Ground in 2022 and has cemented himself as a club legend.
2024/25 was a difficult season for the attacker, with Phil Parkinson axing Palmer in late January.
However, he did make an unexpected return to the first-team set-up over the summer.

The number 35 was a regular feature for the club in pre-season amid injury issues.
Then, with Kieffer Moore sidelined vs Hull City, Palmer impressed off the bench in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
Wrexham were 3-1 down in that clash but he came on to score a brace, taking the match to penalties, which Parkinson’s team won.
After Hull, Palmer was nominated for an award, competing for Round One’s Carabao Cup Player of the Round.
The EFL have since announced that the Wrexham ace has fended off the competition to take home the prize.
Following that fixture, Palmer said: “I’m feeling emotional. The penalties were great, five clinical penalties.
“I really enjoyed it and more importantly, we’re through to the next round, and it’s a fantastic cup to go on and try and go as far as possible.
“It was disappointing to go 3-1 down initially. The manager told me to get stuck in, impact the game and do what I do.
“We always dig deep, we’ve done that for the past few years and made this place into a fortress.”
