Wrexham have been incredibly active in the market this summer, most recently landing Nathan Broadhead.
With the 2025/26 Championship season now underway, Wrexham are still looking to improve their squad.
Eight new players were signed prior to the campaign kicking off, and Nathan Broadhead has now joined from Ipswich Town.
The Broadhead transfer fee has been questioned after the Dragons paid a new club record £10m for his services.
He joins the likes of Lewis O’Brien and Josh Windass as big-name summer additions for Phil Parkinson, and we have now taken a look at how his arrival has changed Wrexham’s squad value.

Wrexham squad value vs every Championship team
Unlike previous seasons, Wrexham are no longer one of the top teams in the division when it comes to the level of players and financial power.
The recently relegated teams, as expected, have some of the most valuable squads in the second tier.
Meanwhile, there are plenty of long-term Championship sides who have put together solid teams.
As for Wrexham, the Broadhead arrival has taken their value up to €32.30m, and since August 1, their overall squad value has increased by 26.2%.
However, they are still toward the bottom end of the table, with only four sides below them at present.

Will Wrexham make more signings
Wrexham are hampered by Championship squad rules, and Parkinson will have to leave out five players unless some names are moved on.
Despite this, further additions could still be made at the Racecourse Ground this summer.
The Wrexham Insider revealed earlier this week that they have an interest in Cardiff’s Calum Chambers.
Liverpool youngster Lewis Koumas is linked with a loan move to the Dragons as well.
