Wrexham drew 1-1 with Derby County this weekend, but it was a testing weekend for players out on loan.
Phil Parkinson added another point to the tally as Wrexham drew 1-1 with Derby County on Saturday afternoon, as Lewis O’Brien found the net.
Wrexham couldn’t hang on for all three points, but Parkinson won’t be too disappointed with a point against the Rams.
Wrexham’s loanees have also been in action this weekend, but they endured tough times away from the STōK Cae Ras.

Paul Mullin
This has been a difficult week for Paul Mullin and Wigan Athletic.
The Latics were hammered by rivals Bolton Wanderers before Mullin came off the bench in a Carabao Cup defeat to Wycombe Wanderers.
Mullin was back in the starting XI to face Cardiff City, but couldn’t prevent a 2-0 defeat to Wrexham’s Carabao Cup opponents.
Wigan managed just one shot on target in a dismal outing, meaning Mullin and co have suffered three defeats in a week.
Jake Bickerstaff
The struggles continue for Cheltenham Town and Wrexham loanee Jake Bickerstaff.
The Robins sacked manager Michael Flynn last week and suffered an embarrassing 7-1 defeat at Grimsby Town this weekend.
Bickerstaff came off the bench on 54 minutes with the score at 3-1, but Cheltenham completely fell apart in a heavy defeat.
Gloucestershire Live claim that Steve Cotterill is in talks to become the new Cheltenham boss, and Bickerstaff will hope to feature prominently under his management.
Modou Faal
Striker Modou Faal joined Port Vale over the summer and played 45 minutes against Mansfield Town last week.
However, the giant striker was then an unused substitute against Arsenal in midweek.
Sadly, Faal suffered the same fate against Barnsley, as he was named on the bench but was not brought on.
Faal needs first-team action, and Wrexham will hope to see him return to the Port Vale line-up quickly, though Vale boss Darren Moore must do what works best for his team.
Strikers Jayden Stockley and Devante Cole both came off the bench in the 2-0 win over Barnsley, with Faal seemingly behind them in the pecking order.
Sebastian Revan
Left-wing back Sebastian Revan was loaned out to Burton Albion, but they sit bottom of the League One table.
Revan played the full 90 minutes on Saturday as Burton suffered another difficult defeat, losing 4-0 at home to Plymouth Argyle.
The Brewers have claimed just five points from eight League One games, and sit three points adrift of safety – though they have played two games fewer than 20th-placed Wycombe Wanderers.
Revan and former Wrexham man George Evans will hope to drag the club away from danger, but this has been a worrying start to the season.
Callum Edwards
Youngster Callum Edwards was in a strange position a week ago, as he started on the bench for Southport in an abandoned game against Peterborough Sports.
Edwards was again named on the bench on Saturday, as Southport beat Morpeth Town 3-1 in an FA Cup tie.
Southport advanced to the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup with that win, but Edwards failed to make it off the bench.
Thomas O’Connor and Jacob Mendy
Thomas O’Connor and Jacob Mendy both joined Peterborough United before the transfer deadline, and they enjoyed a 1-0 win at Plymouth Argyle last weekend.
The Posh struggled this weekend, though, falling to a 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Lincoln City.
O’Connor and Mendy both started the game as Darren Ferguson suffered a testing afternoon.
O’Connor played the full 90 minutes, while Mendy played 84 minutes and was even switched to play as a right wing-back at one stage.
That is a rather unfamiliar role for Mendy, at least from his Wrexham days, and it didn’t really work as Peterborough fell to defeat.
