Jay Rodriguez is the latest player to join Wrexham and has since received a pretty bizarre welcome message.
Wrexham seemingly wanted to complete the majority of their winter transfer business in a single day, with major changes at the club happening on Friday, January 31st.
On the outgoings front, James Jones departed to join League One rivals Burton Albion.
Meanwhile, Wrexham signed Sam Smith from Reading in what is a new club-record transfer for the Red Dragons.
After weeks of waiting for just one striker to be signed, fans were in for a real treat when Jay Rodriguez joined from Burnley just hours after Smith was confirmed.
The Englishman has moved to Wales on a contract until the end of the 2025/26 season and should be a major boost in their promotion push.

Allan Nyom sends strange message to Jay Rodriguez after Wrexham move
Rodriguez could make his Wrexham debut vs Crawley Town on Saturday, just a day after he was signed.
If he does, he will likely come into the lineup for Elliot Lee, with Smith replacing Ollie Palmer in the other striker position.
Meanwhile, after he moved to the Racecourse, the 35-year-old’s management posted a picture to Instagram confirming the news.
The post itself is pretty standard but there was a rather unusual comment left on it by Getafe defender, Allan Nyom.
The duo have previously plied their trade together for West Bromwich Albion but that still doesn’t really explain why the former Premier League ace commented what he did.
Taking to the comment section, he wrote: “Congratulations #hal#robson#conspiracy#spaceship#pyramid#behindthemoon”.

What Jay Rodriguez said about joining Wrexham
The versatile forward is bringing with him a wealth of Premier League and Championship experience.
His arrival is another big statement from the club’s owners as well, who are clearly trying to do everything possible to ensure Wrexham win promotion to the Championship this season.
Rodriguez could be key to that and after signing, he penned his first message to the club.
He said: “I’m made up to join the club. I can’t wait to get out on the training pitch and meet everyone.
“I hope I can use my experience to help every single player in the squad and gain something from the group as well.
“To join the story that has evolved at Wrexham with clear targets is exciting for me.”
