Wrexham have continued to turn heads in the summer transfer window with eight new signings now to their name.

As many expected they would, Wrexham have both spent money and signed experienced Championship players.

Going into this summer it was reported that Wrexham wanted experienced Championship players ahead of their return to the second tier after more than 40 years, and Phil Parkinson has signed just that.

Wrexham have completed the signing of Kieffer Moore from Sheffield United just days after the club signed Conor Coady from Leicester City.

The two add a wealth of experience to the side and it looks like the Dragons will bring yet more players to the Racecourse before the summer transfer window shuts on September 1st.

Kieffer Moore makes Premier League prediction for Wrexham

Speaking in his first interview as a Wrexham player, Moore gave his verdict on a number of topics, including promotion to the Premier League. Last season, Wrexham won promotion from League One, which was a third-straight promotion under owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac.

It’s an incredible achievement and the momentum looks unstoppable, with many already tipping Wrexham to be a Premier League team within the next few seasons. Moore, however, believes Wrexham can do it next season, if not this season, after he told the club: “Obviously, looking at the upward trend of this football club, and you can see one way…

“The ambition is Premier League. I’m not sure when that may be. Hopefully this season, maybe the season after, it’s of course the goal. But who knows this? But one thing is everyone at this football club should be excited about this season and really get behind the team.”

Ryan Reynolds agrees with Kieffer Moore’s Wrexham promotion prediction

Speaking a few years ago, Reynolds said Wrexham could be a Premier League team within the next 10 years. But after promotion to the Premier League, and given this summer’s exciting transfer business, Reynolds now thinks Wrexham can be promoted a lot sooner than that.

Reports have claimed that, behind the scenes, Reynolds believes that Wrexham can be promoted to the Premier League by 2027. That’s the same timeline that Moore has also set, and so, behind the scenes, this 2027 target may have been one that has been actually set by the club and the players, and it would be an incredible achievement if they could pull it off.

But few would back against Wrexham to achieve what would be an unthinkable fourth straight promotion, given the momentum they have, the resources they have, and the players they are already signing this summer.

Wrexham kick off their season against Southampton on August 9th.
