Wrexham beat Preston North End on Tuesday, with one player earning praise from his teammates post-match.
Goals from Ryan Hardie, Harry Ashfield, and Kieffer Moore saw the Dragons come from behind to secure their first win of the season in 90 minutes this week.
Wrexham beating Preston North End saw the Dragons reach the third round of the EFL Cup for the first time in over 40 years.
It was a mixed performance from Phil Parkinson’s men on the night, who were much improved in the second half.
Parkinson praised Callum Doyle for his debut appearance, while Wrexham fans love their new signing as well.
But another player who featured in the 3-2 victory has also been receiving plaudits.

After breaking into the first team last season, Harry Ashfield wants to play regularly for Wrexham this season.
The academy product is yet to feature in the Championship, but he’s impressed in both Carabao Cup games this term.
Ashfield scored a brilliant goal against Preston to make it 2-2, and various players, including James McClean and Ollie Palmer, have sent messages to the teenager on Instagram.

Harry Ashfield stats for Wrexham vs Preston
It remains to be seen how often Ashfield will start in the Championship this season.
But with Wrexham now into the next round of the cup, he should be getting at least one more chance to impress Parkinson this year.
