Paul Mullin may not have enjoyed the best season so far, but he still has the love and support of the Wrexham fanbase.
Wrexham achieved back-to-back promotions in April and that brought a whole new set of challenges.
It was one thing to go from the National League to League Two, but to end up in League One so quickly meant work was needed in the transfer market.
Wrexham have fared well so far and sit third in the League One table at the time of writing.
This has been another positive season for Wrexham but striker Paul Mullin has yet to really get going.

Tranmere sent Mullin on loan to Cambridge United in League Two and he then ended up becoming Wrexham’s goal machine.
Rob McElhenney tempted Mullin into joining Wrexham and he has become an absolute hero in North Wales.
Now posting a similar record – two goals in 20 League One games – Mullin has yet to prove his doubters wrong.
Mullin’s struggles have been well-publicised but his dazzling goal against Blackpool impressed Wrexham fans.
Mullin is still an absolute hero at Wrexham regardless of the quiet season and that is unlikely to change any time soon.
The Wrexham striker has now taken to X to post a message to fans as he reminisced on an important moment from last season.
Mullin posted a video of Wrexham fans cheering him onto the pitch following his battle with injury at the start of last season.
Mullin noted that he had just been sent the clip to look back on and he shared just how much it still means to him.
“Just been sent this still gets me emotional,” said Mullin as he showed appreciation for the Wrexham fanbase.
Wrexham fans will continue backing Mullin
Just look through the replies to Mullin’s post and you will see an outpouring of love and support from Wrexham fans.
This journey under Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds has been remarkable but Mullin has been the poster boy.
This season may have been difficult for Mullin but nobody will never, ever forget Mullin’s goalscoring heroics in recent years.
Wrexham want another striker this month and maybe Mullin gets replaced down the line or finds his minutes gradually diminishing.
One thing we can be sure on is that Wrexham fans will not turn on Mullin with the striker writing his name in Wrexham folklore forever – no matter what his League One record looks like.
