Wrexham have brought in another new signing this weekend but Phil Parkinson is ready to battle the EFL over another deal.
Wrexham were back on the road this weekend as Phil Parkinson took his side to face Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium.
After three home wins in a row – which helped bring up 200 home points under Parkinson – Wrexham hit the road again.
Storm Darragh put the game in some danger but Wrexham grabbed a 1-0 win thanks to Elliot Lee’s goal.
Wrexham fans praised Lee as his second-half corner went all the way into the back of the net via the post.
Parkinson has also hailed Lee as ‘brilliant’ having helped Wrexham record a fourth straight win without conceding a single goal.

Wrexham add new goalkeeping signing
Parkinson will be delighted with how his players dealt with some pretty awful conditions and managed to secure another win.
Wrexham’s preparations were hampered in the week as goalkeeper Callum Burton suffered an injury against Barnsley.
Arthur Okonkwo is already out injured so Wrexham had to call on Mark Howard against Burton.
A new name featured on the bench though as Brad Foster was named as a Wrexham substitute.
Former West Bromwich Albion stopper Foster has joined Wrexham on a short-term deal having trained with the first-team squad in recent weeks.
The 23-year-old offers Wrexham another option between the sticks amid fears that Burton will miss the rest of the season.
Phil Parkinson wants another addition
Parkinson isn’t happy though and has told BBC Sport that he wants to sign another goalkeeper on an emergency loan deal.
The EFL rules are ‘very complicated’ in Parkinson’s eyes and feels that they are ultimately wrong given Wrexham’s issues between the sticks.
Parkinson suggested that he and Wrexham will push a firm case to the EFL in the hope of signing a loan goalkeeper until January.
“We’d still like to bring in another keeper – the EFL rules are not very favourable and very complicated,” said Parkinson.
“I don’t agree with them because when you look at it Arthur’s broken his wrist, we’ve got Callum with a torn thigh and Luke McNicholas is injured as well.
“If that’s not exceptional circumstances then I don’t know what it. I think the EFL will have to have a very close look at their rules. But we’ll get on to that tomorrow and try and get a solution to get us through to January,” he added.
Wrexham face Crewe Alexandra in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday night and Foster may yet be given a chance against the League Two side.
Parkinson will hope to have anther goalkeeper secured soon enough though with Wrexham set to face Cambridge United and Bristol Rovers before Christmas.
