It’s going to be a big summer of change at Wrexham, with plenty of incomings and outgoings expected.
Wrexham are targeting Premier League players going into the latest summer transfer window, which kicks off in June.
Brentford’s Myles Peart-Harris is the latest name linked from the top flight, with many more rumours emerging in recent weeks.
While incomings have been the focus of late, however, Phil Parkinson has already said more players will leave Wrexham this summer.
It comes after the club’s retained list was announced earlier in May, with eight players departing at the end of their contracts. Rob McElhenney has now chosen to praise one of them in the latest episode of Welcome to Wrexham.

Rob McElhenney praises Mark Howard
Mark Howard has been with Wrexham since the National League days, filling in during crucial periods when other goalkeepers were injured.
This happened once again in the 2024/25 campaign when both Arthur Okonkwo and Callum Burton picked up problems.
Howard featured heavily midway through the campaign and has now been discussed by McElhenney in Season 4, Episode 4 of Welcome to Wrexham, which was released in the UK on May 30.
On Howard, the co-owner said: “Talk about answering the call. I mean, Chomp just keeps stepping up when we need him most. It’s amazing that he always keeps himself so ready to step up and step in.”

Why Mark Howard is leaving Wrexham
Howard announced he’s leaving Wrexham a couple of days prior to the club’s retained list being confirmed.
When explaining why he opted to depart, the goalkeeper suggested he still wants to keep playing regularly.
He wrote: “From the moment I pulled on the Wrexham shirt, I have tried to bring professionalism, passion, and personality to the club.
“As I reflect on what an incredible journey it’s been, I consider myself fortunate to have shared a dressing room with the best teammates. Every day I have left with a smile on my face wanting to come back and do it all over again. Love you boys.
“Being able to say I’m the only goalkeeper ever to do the 3peat. Back2Back2Back. I say tongue in cheek.
“I am deeply grateful for the opportunities I’ve had here. Working alongside some of the most amazing staff on and off the pitch, giving me the encouragement to do more, I cannot thank you enough.
“The connection with the fans was tough at times but now I feel part of the family, I would like to think you’ve all grown to love me.
“At this stage I still feel like I have more football in me, so it’s not retirement yet, I still want to dive around while my body lets me.
“Finally a huge thank you to these two amazing people. @robmcelhenney@vancityreynolds”.
