Wales take on Kazakhstan and Canada during the September international break, and Wrexham have a few representatives for the national side.
For the first time in 17 years, Wrexham have a player in the Welsh national side, and it’s not just one with Wales calling up three Wrexham players for next month’s international fixtures in Kieffer Moore, Nathan Broadhead and Danny Ward.
All three signed during the summer. In total Wrexham have signed 10 new players so far and Phil Parkinson is looking for more new signings ahead of the September 1st transfer deadline.
But so far Moore is arguably the pick of the bunch. The 33-year-old has scored three goals in four total games including the winner as Wrexham beat Preston North End in the Carabao Cup midweek.

Craig Bellamy thinks Kieffer Moore is a perfect fit for Wrexham
Speaking to the press on Thursday, Bellamy was discussing his team selection and he spoke about several Wrexham players, including Moore. Bellamy explained how he thinks Moore is perfectly suited to Parkinson’s style of play at Wrexham.
The Wales boss said: “There isn’t similarities as to how I play and to how we play at Wales and how Wrexham play, they’re two different ways and there is no right or wrong way with this. But with Kieffer for instance, the way Wrexham play will definitely suit Kieffer and I feel when I’ve watched him before with Wrexham you could see that.”

Kieffer Moore’s stats for Wrexham so far
Wrexham really didn’t have an out and out goal scorer last season. In January, Wrexham broke their transfer record at the time to sign Sam Smith from Reading, and he went on to score seven goals for the Dragons, with 18 across the season.
After Smith, it was Elliot Lee with the most goals with eight in League One last season. Moore, already on two in the league, looks as though he could be a ringer for Wrexham this season, and he’s certainly looking like a great fit for Parkinson.
| Statistic (Championship) | Kieffer Moore |
| Aerial duels won per game | 7.7 |
| Shots on target per game | 0.7 |
| Big chances missed | 1 |
| Passes per game | 10.7 |
| Goal conversion % | 22 |
Having already scored one with his left and one with his right, Moore is also proving to be a real aerial presence with 7.7 aerial duels won each game so far.
And his low number of passes shows how Moore is simply a striker, nothing else, waiting for crosses to come into the box which he is so far taking full advantage of.
Wrexham return to Championship action against Millwall on Saturday.
