Wrexham have now seen three players confirm that they will not be at the club come the 2025/26 season.

The EFL contract deadline will arrive on May 17, with Wrexham having to inform all soon-to-be out-of-contract players if they will be offered a new deal or not by that date.

Already, conversations have taken place with a trio of players, who have now come out to confirm their exits.

Steven Fletcher is leaving Wrexham after scoring eight League One goals in 2024/25.

Mark Howard announced his exit from the club on Thursday as well, and a third star has now stated his time at the Racecourse Ground is over.

Jordan Davies leaving Wrexham

Jordan Davies spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan with League Two side Grimsby Town.

With Grimsby’s season over, he has returned to Wales but will not be at Wrexham for much longer.

His deal with the Welsh side runs out on June 30 and Davies has now taken to Instagram to announce he’ll be departing.

When doing so, the midfielder sent a special thank-you to co-owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.

He wrote: “My time at my hometown club has come to end, safe to say we’ve been on a special journey not in my dreams when I joined back in Covid did I think I’d be leaving here 5 seasons later with it being a Championship club.

“With unbelievable achievements right along the way. I want to say thank you to all the players and staff that have helped me on the journey.

“It was a special group of lads to whole time.

“Special thank you @vancityreynolds and @robmcelhenney for changing the feel around the whole town, long may the Wrexham journey continue.”
