Matty James is proving himself to be a great addition to the Wrexham team following his recent transfer.
Matty James joined Wrexham on a free transfer in October after an injury to George Evans forced the club to dip into the free-agent market.
Most fans likely expected the former Manchester United man to only be used sparingly but it is fair to say he has more than exceeded expectations during his brief time at the Racecourse Ground.
With Andy Cannon suspended, the midfielder started over the weekend in the 3-0 win versus Exeter City.
Following that clash, striker Ollie Palmer praised James, dubbing him an ‘unbelievable player’.
With Cannon back from suspension on Tuesday, however, Phil Parkinson had a big James decision to make vs Lincoln City.
In the end, despite debate from the Wrexham manager, the 33-year-old once again started on Tuesday evening.

Matty James proved Wrexham worth to Phil Parkinson vs Lincoln City
Wrexham beat Lincoln City 1-0 on November 26th to maintain their spot in the automatic promotion places for the time being.
The only goal of the game came in the 67th minute via a James McClean cross, which forced an own goal.
It was by no means a clinical from the Red Dragons but three points are three points, and Phil Parkinson should be very pleased with how James played.
The former Bristol City man led by example on the night with his years of experience at a higher level shining through.
James was spotted barking orders at his teammates during the game in spells when Lincoln were on top.
The Bacup-born star was a real leader on the night and helped Wrexham get through some really difficult periods of pressure, showing exactly why Parkinson brought him to the club in the first place.

Matty James speaks out on Wrexham future
While James is already proving his worth in Wales, his long-term future at Wrexham is still very much up in the air.
This comes with his contract only lasting until the beginning of the 2025 January transfer window when he will once again be a free agent.
His age and impending return of Evans means James is facing a battle to earn a fresh deal. But his recent performances will no doubt help massively when Parkinson and co. come to make a decision on the player’s future.
James spoke out on his Wrexham future earlier this month, saying: “Now the aim is to give everything I possibly can to Wrexham from now until January and see what happens.
“I am going to do that every single day; give my all every time I get on the pitch, give 100 percent and we will see where that takes us come January.”
