Wrexham are back in action again on Tuesday night as Phil Parkinson’s side take on Port Vale in the final game of the EFL Trophy group stage.
Phil Parkinson watched on as his Wrexham side hit back after defeat to Harrogate Town in the FA Cup.
Wrexham beat Mansfield Town 1-0 on Saturday afternoon with Ryan Barnett scoring the only goal of the game.
Rob McElhenney celebrated a ‘tough’ Wrexham victory with Parkinson no doubt delighted to claim all three points.
The attention shifts back to cup action though with Wrexham taking on Port Vale in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday night.
Wrexham have already qualified out of the group stage but have one more game to play after beating Salford City and Wolverhampton Wanderers Under-21’s.

Sebastian Revan hype fading at Wrexham
Parkinson will be assessing his options ahead of the clash against the League Two side.
The Wrexham boss has already hinted that he will make 11 changes to his starting XI in an attempt to give minutes to other players.
Whether those plans include left wing back Sebastian Revan remains to be seen.
Wrexham pounced to sign Revan from Aston Villa over the summer, securing him on a permanent basis.
Parkinson suggested that Revan would only improve Wrexham and excitement was rife early in the season.
Parkinson hailed Revan as ‘outstanding’ during pre-season and the Wrexham boss added that Revan was ‘terrific’ against Bolton Wanderers.
That early-season hype has started to fade a little though and Revan was one of the losers from the 1-0 FA Cup defeat.
Revan simply didn’t take his chance at left wing back and the knock-on effect was swift; Revan wasn’t even on the bench against Mansfield Town.
That was the first time Revan hasn’t been in the matchday squad for a League One game this season and no injury or illness has been mentioned.
Revan may hope for a chance in the EFL Trophy but even that isn’t a guarantee.
Jacob Mendy looks likely to start at left wing back as he builds up his minutes whilst Luke Bolton’s return to the bench on Saturday suggests that he would be at right wing back.
Revan has dabbled in midfield this season but James Jones and Matty James need action whilst Parkinson has hinted at a chance for Josh Adam in the Wrexham engine room.
Parkinson may well feel that this is an ideal chance to give Revan some confidence again but a starting role is far from guaranteed given the strength of the Wrexham option.

Revan deserves time to shine
Player development is not linear and players go through ups and downs along the way.
Revan started the season in such exciting fashion, showing pace and penetration from out wide.
James McClean’s form means that Revan just hasn’t been able to build any momentum though, and a shaky display against Harrogate perhaps wasn’t a huge surprise.
Revan is only 21 though and this is his first permanent move away from Villa after 13 years in their ranks.
Finding consistent form at Wrexham may take some time but Revan has the talent and potential to make a huge impact in the weeks, months and years to come and nobody should be giving up on him right now.
