A number of Wrexham players have shone in the early stages of the 2024/25 League One season.
Wrexham have had a mixed start to their first-ever campaign in League One, with their form dropping of late.
Phil Parkinson’s men have failed to win their last two games, seeing them slip down to second in the division behind Birmingham City.
Wrexham lost to Stevenage in midweek and their performance on the whole was pretty concerning.
Eoghan O’Connell was the only positive for Wrexham vs Stevenage on Tuesday evening, with the centre-back putting on a stellar display.
Elsewhere this term, summer signing Sebastian Revan has been praised by Parkinson, with the Wrexham manager giving him a ‘special mention’ after his showing in the EFL Trophy against Salford City.
For the most part, though, it is George Dobson who has been lauded the most in the early stages of 2024/25.

George Dobson not Wrexham player of the season so far
The midfielder has excelled following a free transfer from Charlton Athletic, with Dobson likened to Bobby Moore by one journalist recently.
Dobson led the EFL in one impressive statistic after a standout display against Reading back in August as well.
However, speaking on the Rob. Ryan. Red podcast, Wrexham expert Nathan Salt has named another player as the club’s star of the season so far.
The man in question is right-wing-back Ryan Barnett, who has started all but one league game this term.
Salt said: “Barney I think was our best player at Leyton Orient and I would argue was probably our most threatening player at Stevenage
“I think he’s been our best player this season.”

Why Ryan Barnett is keeping Sebastian Revan out of Wrexham team
Despite arriving from Aston Villa, Revan is being kept out of the Wrexham team by Barnett.
The former did start at left-wing-back in the loss to Stevenage but after James McClean struggled in midfield, the Irishman will likely drop back into his more favoured role this week, once again forcing Revan onto the bench.
Barnett has been in from the off seven times in League One this season and has so far provided two assists from the right-hand side of defence.
Rob McElhenney praised Barnett after his assist during Wrexham’s 3-0 victory over Reading at the Racecourse Ground earlier in the campaign.
The 25-year-old was in and out of the starting line-up during the club’s 2023/24 promotion-winning campaign.
But after such a quality start to this season, it looks as though Barnett has firmly cemented himself as the starting right-wing-back.
Wrexham host Northampton Town on Saturday and the Englishman is likely to be one of the first names on the teamsheet.
