Wrexham face Bristol Rovers on Saturday afternoon but Paul Mullin is unlikely to start.
Paul Mullin made the move to Wrexham in 2022 and has since cemented himself as one of, if not the greatest player to line out for the club.
The striker has scored over 100 goals for the Red Dragons, playing such a crucial role in their two promotions in two seasons.
However, 2024/25 has really not been Mullin’s campaign. The 30-year-old missed the start of the season after suffering an injury over the summer.
He made his league return in a 16-minute cameo off the bench versus Reading in late September but didn’t score his first goal in the division until October 19th against Rotherham United.
Some damning Mullin League One data emerged last month with the forward struggling to find the back of the net and those woes are still ongoing.

Wrexham expert issues Paul Mullin verdict
Wrexham fans are backing Mullin amid his lack of goals, but his record at this point is pretty concerning.
Ahead of the meeting with Bristol Rovers, he now has just one goal in 18 league fixtures.
Granted, a number of those outings have come off the bench, but Mullin is still missing chances when he is brought on.
Now, Wrexham experts Rich Fay and Nathan Salt have been discussing the out-of-form striker on the Rob.Ryan.Red podcast.
When doing so, the former shared his verdict on Mullin’s season so far and predicted him to get back into the eleven by the end of 2024/25.
He said: “He’s a bench option at the moment because he’s not justified starting and even at the weekend watching Paul Mullin, he still looked a little off it, just not doing all the right things.
“But what I would say which is very encouraging for me, is he’s still trying everything he normally would and that says to me that he’s still got that confidence, he’s still got that self-belief.
“I think when he first came back he was doubting himself a little bit and he was overthinking things, complicated things.
“Right now I think he’s just in a bad moment where he’s not got the run of games and then there’s more pressure when he’s on the pitch in the short amount of time to do something good.
“I’m still very encouraged by him, I still think he could be in that starting lineup by the end of the season.”
Phil Parkinson verdict on Paul Mullin
Wrexham are continuing to have an excellent campaign despite their main goalscorer not producing.
The club go into the latest round of fixtures third in the division and will overtake Birmingham City, until at least Monday, if they win.
But Wrexham are currently lagging behind their promotion rivals on the goal front, especially when playing on the road – scoring four less than Birmingham in two more games and 13 less than Wycombe Wanders who still have a game in hand.
Parkinson issued a Mullin verdict recently, however, and seems to think the centre-forward is still ready to produce.
He said: “Mulls is ready and chomping at the bit.”
