It was another big summer of change at Wrexham, and one recently departed player has been in sensational form since leaving.
Shaun Harvey predicted Wrexham would need mass overhauls to take place if they rose up the EFL quickly, and he was right.
With each promotion has come much change, and their step up to the Championship has proven to be no exception.
13 new signings arrived in North Wales, while Wrexham let 20 players leave the club in the last several months.

Luke McNicholas thriving after Wrexham exit
Luke McNicholas joined Forest Green Rovers in a permanent deal from Wrexham in July 2025.
The goalkeeper, along with Jack Marriott and Luke Bolton, was one of just three players to leave for a transfer fee over the summer.
McNicholas was never a regular feature in North Wales, but he instantly cemented himself as a starter with Forest Green.
Ben Tozer’s former club are still in the National League after losing out in the play-offs last term.
However, their start to the 2025/26 season has been superb, and the former Wrexham shot-stopper has played a key role.
The 25-year-old has started every single one of their league matches this term, conceding just seven goals and keeping seven clean sheets in 13 matches.
Going into the latest round of fixtures, Forest Green are sat top of the fifth tier with 29 points after winning eight, drawing five and losing none of their league fixtures.
Another former Wrexham player could win National League promotion
McNicholas is not the only ex-Wrexham man trying to escape the National League this term, though.
Aaron Hayden left the Red Dragons in 2024, being released on a free by Phil Parkinson.
He rejoined former club Carlisle United, who were relegated from League Two in 2024/25.
They are now third in the fifth tier of English football and only three points off Forest Green currently.
