Luke McNicholas joins Forest Green from Wrexham
Wrexham signed Danny Ward to add to their considerable depth in the goalkeeping department and that addition may have led to the club’s latest announcement.
The Red Dragons have announced that Luke McNicholas has left the club to join National League side Forest Green Rovers on a permanent deal.
McNicholas spent last season on loan at Rochdale and impressed with performances before injury cut short his campaign.
Forest Green are ‘excited’ to have captured the 25-year-old keeper with the move being subject to international clearance.

Ryan Reynolds sent a heartfelt message to Ben Tozer upon his retirement from football at the end of the season.
Tozer spent his final season at Forest Green Rovers and almost pulled off another promotion, losing out to Southend United on penalties in the play off semi-final.
