Wrexham are looking to take one step closer to Wembley when they return to EFL Trophy action next week.
The Red Dragons booked their place in the last-eight of the competition earlier this week when they saw off Port Vale by four goals to one.
Modou Faal excelled for Wrexham in that clash, scoring one and assisting one in what was one of his better showings since his record move.
Harry Ashfield earned praise after the teenager scored his first senior goal for the club in that meeting as well.
Wrexham now host Bolton Wanderers on February 11th at the Racecourse Ground and we have made three predictions for the game.

Paul Mullin proves his worth in Wrexham vs Bolton Wanderers
After two new strikers arrived in Wales over the winter, it seemed likely Paul Mullin would see very little playing time going forward.
However, Parkinson’s recent comments are good for Mullin, with the Wrexham manager stating every player will be needed for the remainder of the campaign.
The 30-year-old did miss the Port Vale win with a shin injury but that is only thought to be minor and he could be fit to feature next week.
Wrexham already look much more lethal going forward after the January transfer window and if he does start, it may be a great chance for Mullin to bag himself a couple of goals and get his confidence back.

Assist King Ryan Longman continues to impress
While much of the focus was on the number nines Wrexham signed over the winter, Ryan Longman’s addition has proven to be genius.
The winger, turned wing-back, has already managed to provide three assists in 102 minutes of football for the Red Dragons this term.
Given League One promotion is the priority, it’s likely we will see Longman involved in some capacity on Tuesday ahead of Ryan Barnett or James McClean.
He’s been superb so far and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Englishman add to his already impressive assist tally against Bolton.

Sam Smith scores first Wrexham goal
Sam Smith was left on the bench for Wrexham’s latest game but did start in the 2-1 win over Crawley Town last weekend.
Smith looked sharp in said tie and now he’s had a week or so to settle at the Racecourse, Parkinson should be looking to embed him into the starting eleven properly.
He’s already got 11 League One goals in 2024/25 and could well open his Wrexham account in the quarter-final of the EFL Trophy.
