Wrexham are set to play out their biggest game of the season so far on Thursday evening versus Birmingham City.
Wrexham and Birmingham City will clash in an 8pm kick-off at the Racecourse Ground later today.
It is expected to be a very tough game for the Red Dragons, who are already falling behind the Blues in the League One promotion race.
Birmingham’s manager has commented on the match and the hype around the tie amid both team’s owners.
But while there is a lot of pageantry surrounding the tie, the result is all that matters, especially for the home team.
Wrexham have been predicted to beat Birmingham by a former player, but it’s going to be easier said than done, even with their amazing record at the Racecourse.

Wrexham star could be axed for Birmingham City clash
Birmingham are already miles ahead of everyone else in League One with the most expensive squad in the division.
The Red Dragons are a quality team capable of beating anyone on their day but Phil Parkinson must get his selection for the match spot-on.
Parkinson has hinted at Jack Marriott’s role for Wrexham versus Birmingham this week, but there are expected to be more changes elsewhere on the pitch.
Lewis Brunt has returned from injury and could feature, while the 57-year-old could stun fans by dropping Andy Cannon.
Parkinson dubbed Cannon ‘quality’ when the midfielder arrived at Wrexham and he’s been a regular starter recently.

George Dobson should replace Andy Cannon for Wrexham vs Birmingham City
However, Cannon’s form has been mixed and though he’s a good player, he isn’t really suited to this type of game.
Despite being at home, Wrexham are expected to have very little possession and will instead spend the majority of the 90 minutes chasing down the ball.
This is not one of Cannon’s strengths so it makes sense for him to drop out of the side in place of George Dobson.
Dobson has only started two of the club’s last six League One fixtures but when he does play, he brings a much-needed edge to Wrexham’s midfield.
His work rate is outstanding and he’s certainly not shy about getting stuck into tackles – something that will be needed against Birmingham.
