Wrexham concluded their pre-season campaign with two defeats to Groningen.
Phil Parkinson fielded a Wrexham XI that fell to a 1-0 defeat at the club’s training ground before another team played at the stadium in front of supporters.
Wrexham lost the second match 3-1 to the Eredivisie outfit with Josh Windass impressing fans after a fine strike had brought the Red Dragons back level in the match.
There were further solid displays from new signings Lewis O’Brien and Liberato Cacace but one Wrexham player must now be facing up to the fact that his future lies away from the club after taking no part in either game.

Sebastian Revan snubbed by Wrexham in pre-season clashes with Groningen
Sebastian Revan was not selected for either pre-season friendly clash against the Dutch side by Parkinson and must now be considering his future away from the Racecourse Ground.
Revan was a part of the tour down under and played at both left wing back and in an unfamiliar central midfield role on the trip.

However, with the season just around the corner, the defender would have been hoping for another opportunity to gather further minutes under his belt – that chance did not come.
Revan looked ‘dangerous’ at times last season with his pace and power down the left flank but the club’s latest snub surely signals that his time may be up.
A loan move has been mooted for Revan and it is now just a waiting game as to whether a club takes a chance on the 22-year-old.
Jacob Mendy misses Wrexham friendlies as he edges closer to transfer exit
Jacob Mendy was another player who did not feature in either of the friendly clashes in the Netherlands – a clear indication a transfer exit is imminent.
Mendy is wanted by ‘several clubs’ and has been told he can leave the Red Dragons this summer following a torrid spell with injuries.

The wing back has been a huge part of the club’s rise from the National League but has found it difficult to regain his place following injury setbacks and the form of captain James McClean.
Wrexham supporters will be sad to see the likes of Mendy leave, however, departures are inevitable this summer as Parkinson looks to name a 25-man squad.
He currently has over 30 players registered in the first team and will look to balance the books in the coming weeks of the transfer window.
