Wrexham ended up, after much waiting, having a productive January transfer window.
With promotion to the Championship potentially on the cards, Wrexham decided to spend big in January.
Their first arrival through the door was Ryan Longman, who signed from Hull City in a deal worth around £500,000.
The versatile player shone at wing-back in the second half of 2024/25 and was eventually followed through the door by two strikers.
Sam Smith joined in a deal worth £2.02m, with Jay Rodriguez signing on a free transfer as well.
Prior to said duo putting pen to paper, Wrexham were linked with plenty more attackers, including their first summer signing, Ryan Hardie.
As well as Hardie, the Red Dragons were interested in loaning Ethan Wheatley from Manchester United.

Ethan Wheatley struggled after Wrexham links
Wheatley has excelled at youth level for the Red Devils in the last few years.
The forward scored 14 in 28 at U18 level and 13 in 25 at U21 level.
He was eventually loaned out over the winter, dropping down to League Two to sign for Walsall.
However, the 19-year-old, who was also of interest to Stockport County, went on to make just four appearances for his new club.
Wheatley failed to score or assist in any of those matches before being sent back to Old Trafford.
In comparison, Smith ended up netting seven league goals for Wrexham in the second half of 2024/25.

Wrexham want Premier League loans
While failing to sign Wheatley was probably best for the Dragons, they are expected to return to the top flight for potential transfers this summer.
Phil Parkinson has already said that Wrexham are looking at Premier League loan deals.
And we revealed earlier this month that Bournemouth’s Daniel Jebbison is of interest to the Welsh side.
Wrexham are one of several teams to have had talks with the striker’s camp.
