The January transfer window does not open for another six weeks but Wrexham will already have some big plans in mind.
It was a hectic 2024 summer transfer window for Wrexham, who made nine new signings for Phil Parkinson.
The influx of new talent helped the Red Dragons fight their way toward the top end of League One and despite the recent defeat to Stockport County, it has been a largely positive 2024/25 so far.
However, with Ryan Reynolds eyeing another promotion this season, the Welsh powerhouse are expected to do more business in the upcoming transfer window.
We understand that Rob McElhenney and Reynolds are expected to release more finances for Wrexham as long as the club remain in the hunt for automatic promotion come December.
And right now, they are on course to do so, sitting third in the division going into the latest round of games.
With this in mind, The Wrexham Insider have taken a look at what a dream January transfer window could look like for the club.

Wrexham sign striker amid Paul Mullin struggles
The main area expected to be targeted by the club in the 2025 winter window is centre-forward.
It has been revealed that Wrexham want to sign a new striker in January now Paul Mullin is struggling for goals and Jack Marriott remains out injured.
Signing a quality goalscorer midway through a season is likely to prove difficult but one player the club could target is Danilo Orsi.
Orsi is currently plying his trade with Burton Albion and despite their struggles, the striker has six goals and two assists to his name in League One this term – more than any Wrexham player.
Grimsby Town star Max Crocombe previously dubbed Orsi ‘incredible’, as per the Grimsby Telegraph, and he would surely jump at the chance to sign for Wrexham given their promotion aspirations.

Wrexham sign Joe Morell, Lewis Brunt loaned & Ryan Barnett stays put
As well as a striker, Wrexham could do with some fresh legs in midfield come January.
Matty James has signed a short-term deal but his contract runs out at the beginning of 2025, meaning Parkinson and co. will likely once again need to dip into the market to strengthen in the centre of the pitch.
Wrexham were linked with Joe Morrell over the summer and the midfielder is currently a free agent after leaving Portsmouth.
Morell expressed interest in signing for Wrexham last month and he would be the perfect replacement for James.
Elsewhere, Rangers have shown transfer interest in Ryan Barnett this month, while several Championship clubs were also linked with the defender.
But if it is to be a dream window, Wrexham must do everything in their power to ensure Barnett stays put.
Finally, Lewis Brunt has struggled for game time following his summer move and would greatly benefit from a loan in January to garner some much-needed minutes.
