Wrexham are looking to sign a new striker this month but Phil Parkinson has faced decisions on three other forwards.
The transfer window is just about reaching its midway point and Wrexham are yet to strike incoming business.
Phil Parkinson tends to leave his January business late and Wrexham fans may need to be patient this month.
Reports suggest that Wrexham want to sign a new striker and a host of names have been suggested.
Wrexham want Sheffield Wednesday’s Michael Smith according to reports earlier this week with the target man inside the final stages of his contract.
Wrexham are chasing a third straight promotion and bringing in one more goalscorer could be the key to becoming a Championship club.

Manager reacts to Wrexham deal
Fans want to see incomings but Wrexham have also had loan deals to analyse.
Wrexham loaned out three strikers on transfer deadline day with Sam Dalby, Billy Waters and Jake Bickerstaff heading out.
Dalby joined Dundee United and has been in superb form with 10 goals in 21 appearances in Scotland.
Waters is set to join Oldham Athletic after his Halifax Town loan came to an end earlier this week.
Then there is Bickerstaff, who joined Altrincham but has struggled for starts.
Bickerstaff has been in limbo at Altrincham amid questions surrounding star striker Regan Linney’s future.
Wrexham have decided to allow Bickerstaff to stay with Altrincham for the rest of the season as he continues his development away from the STōK Cae Ras.
Altrincham boss Phil Parkinson – which is no doubt a little strange for Bickerstaff having played under Wrexham’s Parkinson – has commented on the loan decision.
Speaking on Altrincham’s official website, Parkinson admitted that he is ‘really pleased’ to learn that Wrexham have decided to extend Bickerstaff’s loan.
Parkinson praised Bickerstaff for his recent impact, praising his pace and desire to run in behind defences.
Parkinson added that the 23-year-ld provides a real goal threat and is desperate to improve during his time at The J. Davidson Stadium.
“I’m really pleased Wrexham have allowed us to keep Jake until the end of the season,” said Parkinson. “I feel he’s really starting to find his feet with us, and he does give something different to Joe and Regan.
“He gives us the ability to really stretch the opponent with his pace and willingness to run in behind as well as his ability to score a goal. He’s a good pro and just wants to keep learning and improving each week – exactly the type of player we look to recruit,” he added.

Jake Bickerstaff likely to leave for good in 2025
Bickerstaff will now look to make himself a key part of an Altrincham side chasing a play-off place in the National League.
Wrexham are happy for Bickerstaff to stay at Altrincham for the rest of the season but the truth is that a permanent exit is surely on the horizon.
This hurts a little; Bickerstaff started at Wrexham and returned to the club after a spell in the Liverpool ranks.
We would love nothing more than for Bickerstaff to kick on and become a homegrown first-team star at Wrexham.
Yet having not been in the plans in League One – or even in League Two last season – it’s difficult to imagine that Bickerstaff will be along for the full journey.
That is the reality facing a number of Wrexham players in this rise under Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, with Bickerstaff potentially having already played his final game for the club.
