It has been a frustrating start to the 2025 January transfer window for Wrexham fans to say the least.
Wrexham confirmed a new contract for Brad Foster on Friday afternoon after his short-term deal was set to expire following a free transfer late in 2024.
Aside from that, however, the Red Dragons are still yet to make any meaningful moves this month.
Two Wrexham players have left the club in January and a former player has now signed for Burton Albion.
But as far as incomings are concerned, it’s been really slow going at the Racecourse Ground.
This is probably not what fans want to see, especially after a shock 2-1 loss to rivals Shrewsbury Town in midweek.
Wrexham are now in danger of losing ground in the automatic promotion race, with one of their rivals strengthening well.

Phil Parkinson on Wrexham January transfers
Huddersfield Town are four points behind Wrexham currently and will overtake them if they win their two games in hand.
To make matters worse, Huddersfield have already made three signings this month, including spending £3m on one player.
In turn, fans of the Welsh outfit are likely growing frustrated and their ire is only likely to grow after reading what Phil Parkinson has said.
Speaking after the defeat on Thursday, the Wrexham boss was asked about making signings in January and gave a rather blunt response, as per Leader Live.
He said: “We’re trying to do that but that’s not on my mind stood here at the moment.”

Who are Wrexham trying to sign in January
While there are no new faces at the Racecourse Ground yet, they are being tipped to move for several players.
Jayden Danns has been linked to Wrexham this week but several clubs in the Championship are also looking at the Liverpool forward.
He’d be a great option to rival Paul Mullin and Jack Marriott but Arne Slot may want him to play at a higher level.
Elsewhere, Danny Rohl spoke about interest in Michael Smith after Wrexham were linked once more following a failed summer move.
