Wrexham look set to say goodbye to Ollie Palmer, which may just leave Phil Parkinson to consider signing another striker.
Wrexham have already landed four attacking additions this summer.
Ryan Hardie, Josh Windass, Kieffer Moore and Nathan Broadhead have joined Wrexham, all providing proven records in the Championship.
Wrexham have also said goodbye to a number of forwards, though, with Paul Mullin’s move to Wigan Athletic the headline departure.
Modou Faal has gone on loan to Port Vale, Jack Marriott joined Reading this week, and Ollie Palmer is now set to join Swindon Town.
Wrexham have brought in four attackers and let four go, but Jay Rodriguez’s continued absence may tempt Parkinson into signing another centre-forward.

Patrick Bamford leaves Leeds United after Wrexham rumours
Moore is making a big impact in the Wrexham attack, but another forward who can lead the line may be on the radar.
One man Wrexham have been heavily linked with in 2025 is Patrick Bamford.
Wrexham were linked with Bamford back in January, but Parkinson ended up signing Rodriguez and Sam Smith instead.
Bamford played just seven times for Leeds after the end of the January transfer window, struggling with injuries during their promotion to the Premier League.
The 31-year-old had been expected to move on this summer, but with no deal materialising, Leeds have taken the decision to release Bamford.
Leeds have confirmed a ‘mutual agreement’ has been reached for Bamford to leave the club on a free transfer after seven years at the club.
Bamford leaves as a two-time title winner in the Championship, scoring 60 goals in 205 appearances for the Whites.
Wrexham should avoid Patrick Bamford
There may be a temptation for Wrexham to move for Bamford, especially now he is available on a free transfer.
We would much prefer to see Wrexham look elsewhere, with major concerns over Bamford’s suitability for the Championship now.
Bamford struggled with injuries last season and ended the season with no goals in 17 appearances.
Admittedly, Bamford only played 235 minutes of Championship action, but that just goes to show the lack of game time the striker has been given over the last year.
Wrexham have seen Rodriguez go down with an injury, and signing an injury-prone Bamford just doesn’t seem to be the solution.
Add in that Bamford would surely want considerable wages, and this is a move Wrexham should leave in the past.
