Wrexham forward Ollie Palmer has plenty of transfer interest going into the final week of the window.
When Wrexham took on Preston North End in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, Ollie Palmer was left out by Phil Parkinson.
It comes amid the 33-year-old now nearing a summer transfer exit, with just days to go until the September 1 deadline.
Palmer moving to Sheffield Wednesday this week always seemed unlikely despite his recent links to the Owls.
Other clubs were interested but a transfer to Dorking Wanderers for the Wrexham striker was ruled out.
Now, the striker has decided which club he will be signing for this summer.

Ollie Palmer next club after Wrexham
It has been reported this week by journalist Nathan Salt that Swindon Town are ‘really keen’ on Palmer.
He said: “Ollie Palmer is set to leave. I know Swindon are really keen on Ollie Palmer, as are Bristol Rovers.”
Now, it has been reported by journalist Pete O’Rourke that Palmer will indeed be joining Swindon and the move will be completed in the next 24 hours.
He stated: “Wrexham striker Ollie Palmer heading to Swindon today for medical and talks with the move set to be completed within the next 24 hours. Big signing for Swindon.”

Ollie Palmer Wrexham wage
It remains to be seen if Palmer will leave Wrexham permanently or follow in the footsteps of Paul Mullin.
Wrexham are still paying half of Mullin’s wages after his season-long loan move to Wigan Athletic.
With Palmer joining a lower-league EFL team, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Dragons strike a similar deal.
It is understood that Wrexham are paying Palmer £6,000-a-week after he signed a new deal with the Welsh side in October 2024.
While not a huge sum for a team like the Dragons, who are now in the Championship, it may be on the higher end for a League Two team.
