Wrexham’s busy summer of spending will soon be over as Phil Parkinson enters the final week of the transfer window.
Wrexham were always going to be active in the summer transfer window.
Reports as far back as April suggested that Wrexham would rival relegated Premier League clubs in terms of transfer spending.
Sure enough, Wrexham have now signed 10 players and spent more than £20million on new recruits for Phil Parkinson’s squad.
Callum Doyle became Wrexham’s latest signing on Thursday evening, completing a move from Manchester City.
There is still more business to be done, though, with incomings and outgoings expected before next Monday’s transfer deadline.
Here are some of the main transfer stories to follow around Wrexham in the next seven days…

Ollie Palmer
Wrexham allowed Paul Mullin to leave for Wigan Athletic earlier in the summer, and his old strike partner Ollie Palmer could follow him out of the STōK Cae Ras.
Parkinson has made Palmer available and, despite his two-goal salvo against Hull City in the Carabao Cup, the giant striker is still expected to leave.
Jacob Mendy
Palmer may not be the only promotion hero to leave in the next week, as Parkinson also made Jacob Mendy available.
Mendy was on the bench against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, but Wrexham may still consider letting him go as Liberato Cacace nears a return.

Dan Scarr
Conor Coady’s arrival at Wrexham means one of Eoghan O’Connell and Dan Scarr could move on.
Scarr is wanted in League One, and while he only joined Wrexham last summer, the defender may find greater first-team opportunities elsewhere.
Thomas O’Connor
Doyle has joined Wrexham as a left-sided centre-back, and that may bring Thomas O’Connor’s future into question.
O’Connor was already behind Lewis Brunt in the pecking for that role, and he could be on the move as Parkinson juggles his bloated Wrexham squad.

George Evans
Another potential victim of Wrexham’s summer recruitment, George Evans finds himself down the pecking order.
Wrexham are looking at midfield additions, and while Evans offers valuable Championship experience, he could be sacrificed as Parkinson aims to squeeze his squad underneath the Championship limits.
Jack Marriott
Wrexham have brought in new firepower this summer, and Jack Marriott finds himself sliding out of the plans as things stand.
Marriott has been linked with Reading in recent days and could be another squad player on the move out of the STōK Cae Ras.

Jordan James
Wrexham are also looking at new signings, and another midfielder appears to be a priority.
Rennes midfielder Jordan James is a top Wrexham target, and the Welshman could arrive at the STōK Cae Ras in the next seven days.
Will Smallbone
James is wanted by other clubs, meaning Wrexham need to have potential alternatives in mind.
Southampton’s Will Smallbone is wanted by Wrexham, with a bid of around £7.5million believed to be on the table for the Republic of Ireland international.

Andy Irving
Wrexham are also keen on Andy Irving, even overtaking Rangers in the race to sign the Scot.
Reports around West Ham United suggest that Irving’s wages could be a problem for Wrexham, so this one could take some twists and turns in the next week.
Pedro Lima
Wrexham have eyed up Pedro Lima, with Parkinson seemingly eyeing another right wing-back despite having Ryan Barnett and Ryan Longman at his disposal.
Wolverhampton Wanderers are keen to loan Lima out this summer, and the Brazilian talent may be a player Wrexham push to sign in the coming days.
