Wrexham have only made two signings so far this summer, but Phil Parkinson is looking to secure further additions this month.
Wrexham beat Melbourne Victory 3-0 on Friday morning, kicking off the tour of Australia and New Zealand in style.
Ryan Hardie grabbed his first goal in a Wrexham shirt, offering a glimpse of his quality in the final third.
Hardie is one of just two Wrexham signings so far this summer, with goalkeeper Danny Ward also on board.
Phil Parkinson is working on more signings, but Wrexham may not have any more new faces on board before returning from this pre-season tour.

Sam Smith on Wrexham transfer business
Parkinson has been putting in the hours while in Australia and is desperate to make sure that Wrexham remain active in the market despite the time difference.
Fans may even look for Wrexham to set a new transfer record this summer as Parkinson chases new recruits.
Wrexham are interested in Lewis O’Brien, and a deal for the Nottingham Forest midfielder could cost around £5million.
That would be a new Wrexham record, just months after Sam Smith completed his move to the STōK Cae Ras.
Wrexham paid around £2million for Smith but may eclipse that mark ahead of the Championship kick-off against Southampton.
Smith has now admitted that he expects ‘a lot’ of signings to arrive at Wrexham before the window is done.
Speaking to news.com.au, Smith admitted that he expects plenty of business, believing that the dynamics of Parkinson’s squad will change ahead of the new season.
“There are still quite a lot of players that need to come in. That’ll change the dynamics of the team,” said Smith.
New signings will drive excitement, but Parkinson will be wary of changing the Wrexham dynamic too much.
Wrexham’s rise through the leagues has been off the back of great team spirit and a tight-knit group fighting for each other every week.
Parkinson will hope to keep that togetherness despite bringing in new signings, ultimately looking to tweak and add to what he already has, rather than rip up the Wrexham squad.
Wrexham still linked with so many names and positions
Parkinson will be delighted to have secured Ward and Hardie, adding depth and experience to his goalkeeping and attacking ranks, respectively.
More signings are needed, though, and a number of positions appear to be in mind for Parkinson.
A central defender will be on the radar, with Wrexham interested in veteran Craig Dawson following his departure from West Ham United.
Wrexham have eyed Callum Brittain, with the Blackburn Rovers wing-back potentially on the move with a year left on his contract.
Parkinson already has Ryan Barnett and Ryan Longman at his disposal, but Brittain appears to be a target to add even more quality.
Left wing-back also appears to be a focus, with Wrexham keen on signing Liberato Cacace from Empoli.
The New Zealand international is a man in demand following Empoli’s relegation and appears to be on Parkinson’s wish list.
O’Brien is the key target in midfield, but reports also suggest that Wrexham are interested in Barry Bannan after his Sheffield Wednesday contract expired.
Many of Wrexham’s signings last summer came out of nowhere, and Parkinson is bound to have some under-the-radar targets in mind as he looks to establish Wrexham in the Championship.
