Wrexham are ‘aware’ of Maksym Talovierov’s situation at recently relegated Plymouth Argyle Wrexham Insider understands.
Phil Parkinson is looking to bolster his Wrexham squad ahead of the challenges of the Championship and the club are beginning to make their moves in the transfer market.
Wrexham are keen on Harry Darling on a free transfer but face stiff competition for his signature from Birmingham and other rival clubs.
Ollie Tanner and Isaak Davies also interest Wrexham from Welsh rivals Cardiff after their fall to League One this season, whilst Callum Robinson has also been linked to the Red Dragons.
Talovierov is linked with Wrexham following Plymouth’s relegation from the Championship themselves and the North Wales club are mulling over a move for the Ukraine international.

Wrexham ‘aware’ of Maksym Talovierov situation at Plymouth
LASK Linz were reluctant to let Talovierov leave in January as the central defender made a £1.7m move to Plymouth.
The Ukrainian international, who represented his country at the European Championships last summer, impressed in the second half of the season and scored in the FA Cup at Manchester City.
TBR Football’s transfer expert Graeme Bailey has informed Wrexham Insider that the club are ‘aware’ of Talovierov’s uncertain future at Plymouth but once again face competition for the defender.
Bailey stated: “Talovierov – again a lot of clubs in for him, told Wrexham have been made aware of his situation. That’s it at the moment.”
Swansea defender Darling may be Wrexham’s preference following Parkinson’s recent comments over free agents but Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have also stated that they are prepared to spend big once again this summer.
Wrexham interest in Darling and Talovierov could spell bad news for Eoghan O’Connell
Steven Fletcher’s contract decision must be made by May 17th according to EFL rules and the same goes for defender Eoghan O’Connell.
O’Connell’s Wrexham contract expires on June 30th and the club are yet to announce whether the Irish defender is to be released or retained.

The club’s interest in Darling and Talovierov indicates that defence is an area the Red Dragons are looking to improve and with only a 25-man squad at his disposal, Parkinson could be set to let O’Connell leave.
Will Boyle is another defender that looks set to leave the Racecourse Ground, as well as Luke Bolton with departures from Wrexham inevitable this summer.
