Wrexham complete Callum Doyle transfer

Wrexham face Sheffield Wednesday in a Championship fixture on August 22.

Ahead of the tie, the Dragons have added another recruit to their ranks, signing Callum Doyle from Manchester City.

Man City have a buy-back clause for Doyle and would earn a percentage of any future sale completed by Wrexham.

Jack Marriott to Reading

Earlier this week, it emerged that Wrexham striker Jack Marriott is wanted by Reading.

Their manager, Noel Hunt, has since commented on signing the Welsh side’s attacker.

Hunt said: “We’re looking for anything out there at the moment- the money is the big thing at the moment.

“We have to find someone that will suit us. Jack is a Wrexham player. I love Jack, he scores goals at this level, but I think it is unfair to talk about someone at another club.”

Birmingham City win race for Wrexham target

It was previously reported that Wrexham wanted to sign Lewis Koumas on loan from Liverpool.

It was suggested that a potential loan move could be on the cards for the versatile winger.

But Fabrizio Romano has now reported that Koumas has decided to join Birmingham City on a temporary basis.
