The January transfer window is yet to open but several interesting updates have emerged from Wrexham this week.
The Red Dragons had a very busy summer transfer window, signing nine players, while another three stars arrived as free agents in October and November.
Shaun Harvey confirmed Wrexham will make signings in the winter window when speaking last month and several names have since been linked.
With that in mind, here is all the latest Wrexham transfer news that has emerged in the last seven days…

Matty James signs new Wrexham contract
One of the aforementioned free-agent additions made this season saw 33-year-old Matty James arrive as cover for George Evans.
The ex-Bristol City man has enjoyed a prolific, albeit brief stint at the Racecourse Ground and has now been rewarded for his fine form.
His deal was set to expire at the end of December, but Wrexham signed James to a new contract on Thursday, keeping him at the club until the end of the current campaign.
Wrexham linked with Leeds United’s Patrick Bamford
Wrexham want to sign a proven Championship striker in the upcoming window and appear to have identified a new target.
Paul Mullin, Ollie Palmer, and Modou Faal have failed to produce on the goal front this season, with the Red Dragons now eyeing Patrick Bamford.
However, the Leeds United forward may prove a costly addition as he is currently earning well in excess of any Wrexham star at present.
His transfer fee would likely be a club-record as well, given The Whites paid £7m to sign Bamford from Middlesbrough in 2018, as per Sky Sports.

Phil Parkinson update on Wrexham loan player
As well as potentially signing brand new players, Wrexham have decisions to make on loan stars.
The likes of Jordan Davies and Sam Dalby are performing well while out on loan and Parkinson has now hinted they could be recalled in January.
He said: “There’s an option to call all the loan players back in January. As you can imagine there’s a lot going on at the moment with decisions on those players.
“I had a chat on Monday night with Shaun Harvey, Michael Williamson, Les Reed and Humphrey Ker about where we’re going with the loan players.
“I reiterated how we’d like the squad to look come the end of January and as always, I am excited about that. We have got to make some decisions.”
Wrexham manager set for talks with Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are generally not that involved when it comes to transfer decisions the club makes.
However, given they are the owners, they obviously have to sign off and fund any potential new arrivals.
Now, Parkinson is set for a meeting with Reynolds and McElhenney, revealing this week: “We’ve had a chat and we’ve got another one about that [transfer window]. Rob and Ryan only get involved when we’re closing in on somebody.”
