Wrexham are looking to build some momentum from their spirited performance against League One leaders Birmingham City.
Some Wrexham fans had to eat ‘humble pie’ after the Birmingham clash with the Red Dragons producing a performance that was a far cry from their dismal defeat at Shrewsbury Town.
Wrexham host Stevenage at the Racecourse Ground and will be looking for three points to close the gap on the automatic promotion spots.
Whilst Wrexham’s home form is excellent under Parkinson, Stevenage will provide a stern test under manager Alex Revell and one statistic in particular could be a worry for Wrexham fans.

Stevenage do not concede goals, but they don’t score many either
So far this season, Stevenage sit in 15th in the League One table but have the joint third best defence in the division.
The biggest problem for Alex Revell and his team have been scoring goals, they are currently the lowest scorers in the division with just 20.
Stevenage’s overall record in terms of goals scored and conceded is highlighted even further in their away form. They have the best defence away from home in the whole of the EFL but have the worst attack.
Wrexham themselves have been struggling for goals this season with Paul Mullin’s performances declining at an alarming rate.
Two stubborn defences and two floundering attacking forces could be set for a hard-fought goalless draw at the Racecourse Ground, Wrexham will have to find something special to overcome a hard-fought battle.
Wrexham could change formation against Stevenage
Wrexham confirmed the signing of Ryan Longman from Hull City to add to Parkinson’s attacking options, with the versatile Longman able to play as a winger or even a forward.
Parkinson could change formation to a 4-3-3 if Longman is handed his debut against Stevenage but could also revert back to his usual striking duo of Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer if he sticks with 3-5-2.

Lewis Brunt has been back in training for Wrexham but it is expected that Parkinson will stick with the same back three that excelled against Birmingham in the Wrexham predicted XI.
Whether Wrexham can pick up a vital three points remains to be seen but fans should not expect a goal fest if they are turning up to watch Stevenage play away from home this season.
