Wrexham are going to be playing in the Championship for the first time since it was rebranded when 2025/26 kicks off.
Wrexham won promotion to the Championship on Saturday after Wycombe Wanderers lost, and they beat Charlton Athletic 3-0.
It means Phil Parkinson has now managed to win three promotions since becoming manager in 2021.
A meeting with Lincoln City later this week will round off 2024/25, but with nothing on the line in that, attention has swiftly turned toward the summer.
Wrexham are unlikely to sign Jamie Vardy despite being heavily linked to the Leicester City legend a lot in the last week.
But a meeting with Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney is planned by Parkinson in order to discuss the next steps after promotion.

Sam Smith tipped to excel in Championship with Wrexham
Parkinson said recently that Wrexham will need to make ‘tough decisions’ in transfer window as they look to improve their squad.
But there are already several players at the club who should excel in the Championship once 2025/26 kicks off.
Now, speaking on the Championship Check-In podcast this week, EFL pundit Sam Parkin has backed Sam Smith to thrive in the Championship.
Smith is Wrexham’s record transfer, and after hitting seven goals since joining from Reading, Parkin thinks the striker is ready to step up to the second tier.
He said: “The one they might pick out for everyone to look out for next season because I think he’s coming into his prime now, is Sam Smith, who got two goals at the weekend.
“Did really well at Cambridge, great period at Reading, couple of million I think, give or take, raised a few eyebrows.
“He is not only a goalscorer, he’s a pest, very aggressive, gets around the pitch, accomplished footballer. He’s someone that’s probably really ready for this next stage in his career.”
Wrexham transfer prediction made
Parkin added that Wrexham will likely sign some forward players in the summer to help out Smith.
He continued: “So they will supplement him [Smith] I’m sure, with some more forward players, but he’s one to keep an eye out for absolutely.”
If the Red Dragons do sign another striker in the summer transfer window, they will have seven, potentially eight if Steven Fletcher signs a new contract, players competing for two spots.
It likely means we will see at least one or two of the current names deaprt the Racecourse on permanent or temporary deals in the coming months.
