One former Wrexham player has raised concerns among his new club’s fanbase this week.
In total, 20 players left Wrexham during the 2025 summer transfer window.
Humphrey Ker sent a message to stars who secured deadline day moves away from the Racecourse Ground.
Elsewhere, Ollie Palmer scored his first goal since leaving the Red Dragons when Swindon Town beat Reading 3-2 on Tuesday evening.
Jack Marriott impressed the Royals with his display, which was his second since securing a permanent Wrexham exit.
But another former player has left fans with one big concern after he lined out in the EFL Trophy.

Bolton Wanderers fans on former Wrexham player Sam Dalby
Sam Dalby was offered a new Wrexham contract but opted to turn it down and leave for free.
Dalby opted to join Bolton Wanderers this summer and was in action against Rotherham United on September 2.
Bolton won 1-0, but their fans have now expressed concern about the former Wrexham man’s display, namely his finishing and passing.
One fan wrote: “Not impressed with Dalby, never holds the ball up always wanting to release the ball quick as possible. In challenges he’s very weak.”
A second fan tweeted: “Never mind Dalby’s finishing has he found a white shirt yet?”
“Mcatee playing really well! Dalby and Gale being so wasteful,” another stated.
A fourth wrote: “Why does Dalby not want to shoot? That’s 2 chances now… Worrying”
“Is Dalby allergic to taking a shot?” asked a fifth Bolton supporter, while another stated: “Dalby should have hit that first time…”
Sam Dalby stats for Bolton vs Rotherham
Dalby started the fixture up front but struggled in front of goal.
He did not have a shot on target, and was the second-lowest rated player in Bolton’s starting eleven, according to Sofascore.
| Sam Dalby | Stats vs Rotherham |
| Minutes | 61 |
| Total shots | 0 |
| Dribble attempts (successful) | 2 (0) |
| Accurate passes | 9/16 (56%) |
| Duels (won) | 13 (6) |
Dalby joined Wrexham from Southend United in August 2022 for an undisclosed fee.
He scored 13 in 88 matches for the Dragons, a tally he surpassed in just 37 games while on loan at Dundee United last season, when he found the net 15 times.
Dalby has explained his Bolton transfer, saying earlier this month: “A massive crowd and a wonderful stadium. It’s a big point of why I wanted to come here. It’s a massive club and I’m really thankful to be here.”
