Wrexham fans are less than convinced after it was reported that their club are leading the race for one player.
The transfer window isn’t officially open for another few days, but Wrexham are already being linked with plenty of names.
Aaron Cresswell is a target for the Red Dragons as he prepares to leave West Ham United on a free transfer.
Tom Lawrence has become a free agent after being heavily linked to the Welsh outfit in recent months.
Wrexham want to sign Charlie Savage from Reading as well, though Manchester United will have an interest in that transfer.
Most recently, it has been reported that Wrexham are now favourites to sign Sunusi Ibrahim.

Wrexham fans question Sunusi Ibrahim link
The forward is currently on the books of MLS side CF Montreal, who are thought to value the player at $300,000 to $500,000.
But news of Wrexham’s interest in the attacker has not exactly gone down well with fans, with many taking to social media to express their displeasure.
One fan wrote: “7 goals in 1000 minutes….. hard pass.”
A second tweeted: “The amount/ability doesn’t make sense. If he’s deemed a good buy for the Championship, the fee would be significantly higher.”
“Below average,” a third fan simply claimed, with another writing: “Not good enough.”
A fifth supporter claimed: “—. He isn’t even decent enough for League Two.”
While a sixth added: “What a weird signing hahah.”
Who is Wrexham transfer target Sunusi Ibrahim
Ibrahim joined his current side, Montreal, in January 2021 from Nigerian outfit 36 Lion FC.
Now 22, he became a regular feature for the MLS side, making 102 appearances in all competitions.
In total, Ibrahim has scored 13 goals and assisted four in his 89 league appearances for the club.
However, the attacker’s minutes have decreased a great deal in the ongoing MLS season, only playing 50 minutes of football across seven matches.
